Gospel Reading, Monday, September 5 (click here)

Monday, September 5
Daily Gospel (Lk 6, 6-11): It happened that Jesus walked another Saturday in the synagogue and began to teach. There was a man who had the withered right hand. They lurked the scribes and Pharisees whether he would heal on the Sabbath, to find an accusation against him. But He, knowing their thoughts, the man who had the withered hand, "Get up and stand here." He got up and stood there. Then Jesus said, "I ask you if Saturday is lawful to do good rather than to do evil, to save life rather than destroy it." And looking at them all, he said, "Stretch out your hand." He did, and his hand was restored. They were dim, and conferred among themselves what they would do to Jesus.
