Daily Gospel (Lk 4.31 to 37): At that time Jesus went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on Saturdays. They were amazed at his teaching, because he spoke with authority. There was in the synagogue a man who had the spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out in a loud voice: "Ah! What we have with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God. " Jesus then rebuked him saying, "Be quiet, and come out of him." And the demon, throwing him in the midst, came out of him without hurting him. They were all amazed, and said to one another, "What is this word! Manda with authority and power to evil spirits and leave. " And his fame spread everywhere in the region.
