 Gospel of the day (Jn 3, 16-21): At that time Jesus said to Nicodemus, "God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. . For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him Whoever believes in Him is not judged; but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And judgment is that the light came into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, that his deeds are not. But he who does the truth comes to the light, so that it is clearly seen that his works are done in God. "
