Reading the Holy Gospel, Sunday, 13 March (click here)

 Sunday, 13 March
Gospel of the day (John 8, 1-11): At that time Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. But at dawn he appeared again in the temple, and all the people came to him. Then he sat down and began to teach. The scribes and Pharisees brought a woman caught in adultery, put it in the middle and say to him, "Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery. Moses commanded us the Law to stone such women. What do you say?". This is said to tempt him to have to accuse him. But Jesus bent down and started writing with his finger on the ground.

But as they continued asking him, he straightened up and said, "Let him who is without sin throw the first stone." I bent down and wrote on the ground. When they heard these words, they went away one by one, beginning with the oldest; and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him. Jesus straightened up and said, "Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you? ". She replied: "No, Lord." Jesus said, "Neither do I condemn. Go, and sin no more. "
