 Friday, March 4
 Daily Gospel (Mk 12, 28b-34): At that time, one of the teachers of the law came to Jesus and asked him this question: "What is the first of all the commandments?". Jesus answered, "The first is: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength '. The second is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other greater than these "commandment.

He told the scribe, "Okay, Master; you are right to say that He is unique and that there is no other besides Him, and love Him with all your heart, with all the intelligence and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself is worth more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices ". And when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, he said to him: "You are not far from the kingdom of God." And no one else dared to question him.
