Reading the Holy Gospel, Friday April 1 (click here)

 Friday, April 1
Gospel of the day (Jn 21, 1-14): At that time Jesus said to the disciples again by the sea of Tiberias. He said in this way. There were together Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee and two others of his disciples. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They replied, 'We'll come with you. " They went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.

Just after daybreak, Jesus stood on the shore; but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them: 'Guys, you have no fish? ". They said, "No". He said, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat and you will find." They cast therefore, and they could not haul it by the abundance of fish. The disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord." Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, put on the dress -for was naked-and plunged into the sea. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net with the fish; they were not far from land, but about two hundred cubits.

Nothing jump ashore, they see a charcoal fire with fish on it and bread. Jesus said, "Bring some of the fish you just caught." Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore, full of large fish, a hundred fifty-three. And there were so many, the net was not broken. Jesus says, "Come and eat." None of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" Knowing that it was the Lord. Then it comes Jesus took the bread and gives it; and just as the fish. This was the third time Jesus appeared to the disciples after rising from the dead.
