Daily Gospel (Mt 23: 1-12): At that time, Jesus spoke to the people and to his disciples and said to them, "Moses' scribes and Pharisees sit. Bring forth therefore do and observe what they tell you; but do not imitate their behavior, they say, and do. They tie up heavy burdens and lay them on men's shoulders, but they will not lift a finger to help them. All their works they do to be seen by men; done well phylacteries broad and their fringes long mantle; They want first place at feasts and the chief seats in the synagogues, to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have people call them 'Rabbi. "

"You, however, not to be called" Rabbi ", for one is your Master; and you are all brothers. Call no one 'Father' yours in the earth, for one is your Father in heaven. Nor must you let called "Doctors" because one is your Doctor: Christ. The greatest among you shall be your servant.
