   Daily Gospel (Mt 7, 7-12): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "Ask and you shall receive; Seek and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or is there anyone among you who the son ask bread, will give him a stone; or if he ask a fish, will give him a serpent? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him! Therefore, whatever ye would that men also do you also to them; because this is the law and the prophets. "
