Reading from the Gospel, Domingo February 14 (click here)

 Sunday February 14
Daily Gospel (Lk 4: 1-13): At that time Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness for forty days, tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days and, after them, he was hungry. And the devil said, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread." Jesus answered him, "It is written: 'Not by bread alone does man live.'"

She led him up and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the earth; and the devil said, "I'll give you all the power and the glory of them, because it has been delivered to me, and give it to whomever I want. If therefore worship me, all shall be yours. " Jesus answered him, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and Him only shall you serve.'"

It took him to Jerusalem, and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said: "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down; for it is written: 'A will entrust his angels to guard you. " And: 'In their hands they will bear to not strike your foot against a stone.' " Jesus answered him, "It is said, 'Do not put the Lord your God.'" Ended all the temptation, the devil departed from Him until an opportune time.
