   Wednesday, 20 January
   Daily Gospel (Mk 3, 1-6): At that time, Jesus entered the synagogue again, and there was a man who had the withered hand. They were on the lookout to see if it healed on the Sabbath day to accuse him. The man who had the withered hand said, "Get up there in the middle." And he said: "Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good instead of evil, to save life or to kill?". But they were silent. Then, looking at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, says the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out and his hand was restored. As the Pharisees went out and conspired with the Herodians against him how to destroy.
