   Daily Gospel (Mk 2, 23-28): One Sabbath Jesus crossed through the cornfields, and his disciples began to pluck the ears open. Pharisees they said to him, "Look, why do they on the sabbath what is not lawful?". He tells them: "Have you never read what David did when he was in need and he and those with him were hungry, how he entered the house of God, in the days of High Priest Abiathar, and ate the bread of the presence, which only the priests are allowed to eat, and gave also to those who were with him? ". And he said, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So that the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath. "
