  Daily Gospel (Luke 1, 67-79): At that time Zacharias, John's father, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying: "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel because he has visited and redeemed his people and has us sparked a saving power in the house of David his servant, as he had promised since ancient times, through the mouth of his holy prophets, that would save us from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us doing mercy to our fathers and remembering his holy covenant and the oath he swore to Abraham our father, to grant us, free from enemy hands, we can serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before Him all our days.
