Reading from the Gospel, Saturday November 7 (click here)

  Saturday November 7
Gospel (Lk 16, 9-15): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "I tell you, make friends for yourselves with dishonest wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into eternal dwellings. He who is faithful in the least, it is also in much; and he that is unjust in the least, it is also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you your own? No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will hold to one and despise the other. You can not serve both God and money. "

They were hearing all these things the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, and mocked him and said to them. "You are the ones who the dais of righteous before men, but God knows your hearts; because what is estimable for men, it is an abomination before God. "
