Reading from the Gospel, Wednesday October 28 (click here)

  Wednesday, October 28
Gospel (Lk 6, 12-19): In those days, Jesus went to the mountain to pray, and spent the night in prayer to God. When morning came, he called his disciples and chose twelve of them, whom he also named apostles. Simon, whom he named Peter, and his brother Andrew; James and John, Philip and Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas, James of Alpheus and Simon called the Zealot; Judas of James, and Judas Iscariot, who became a traitor.

Going down with them stood on a level place; There was a large crowd of his disciples and a great multitude of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon, who came to hear him and be healed of their diseases. And those who were troubled with unclean spirits were cured. Everyone sought to touch him came forth from him and healed them all.

We share your brother in Christ, Father Santiago
