  Wednesday, October 14
Gospel (Lk 11, 42-46): At that time, the Lord said, "Woe to you Pharisees, because you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and you reject the justice and love of God! This is what should have practiced without neglecting the others.Woe to you, Pharisees, for ye love the first seat in the synagogues and to be greeted in the marketplaces!Woe to you. For you are like unseen graves over which men walk without knowing it! "One of the lawyers answered him, "Teacher, saying these things, we also insulting us!". But he said: "Woe also to you, the lawyers, You impose on people burdens hard to carry, and you do not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers!".
