 Sunday October 4
 Gospel (Mk 10, 2-16): At that time, some Pharisees came to test him, approached asked: "Can a husband divorce his wife?". He answered, "What Moses commanded you? '. They said, "Moses allowed to write a certificate of divorce and send her away." Jesus said, "Given the hardness of your heart he wrote you this commandment. But from the beginning of creation, God made them male and female. Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, no man put asunder. " And in the house the disciples asked him again about this. He said, "Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her; and if she divorces her husband and marries another commits adultery. "

But Jesus, seeing this, became angry and said, "Let the children come to me, do not hinder them, for to such belongs will the Kingdom of God. I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it. " And he hugged the children and blessed them, laying his hands upon them.
