  Gospel (Lk 12, 8-12): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "I tell you: For everyone who acknowledges me before men, the Son of Man will acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever denies me before men he will be denied before the angels of God. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

"When you are brought before synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you will defend, or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that moment what you should say."
