Reading from the Gospel, Friday October 16 (click here)

 Friday, October 16
Gospel (Lk 12, 1-7): At that time, having met thousands of people, even stepped on one another, Jesus began to speak first to his disciples, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is Hypocrisy. There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, nor hidden that shall not be known. Because whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms will be proclaimed from the housetops. I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body and after that can do no more. I will show you whom to fear: fear him who, after killing, has power to cast into hell; Yes, I repeat: Fear that. Not five sparrows sold for two aces? Well, neither one of them is forgotten before God. Even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; worth more than many sparrows. "
