Reading from the Gospel, Saturday September 12 (click here)

Date: Saturday September 12
Gospel (Lk 6, 43-49): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "For no good tree to give bad fruit, and, conversely, no bad tree that produces good fruit. Each tree is known by its fruit. No figs from thorns, nor gather the grapes from brambles. A good man out of the good treasure brings forth good, and the evil, the evil brings forth evil. Because of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

"Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I say? Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man which built a house, he dug deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood arose, the stream broke against that house, but could not destroy it for being well built. But who has heard and has not been implemented, it is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream broke, and immediately it fell: and great was the ruin of that house. "

Your brother in Christ, share them, Father Santiago
