Reading from the Gospel, Tuesday August 25 (click here)

Liturgical Day: Tuesday August 25
Gospel (Mt 23, 23-26): At that time Jesus said, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, you tithe mint, dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy and faith! This is what had to be done, without neglecting the others.Blind guides, which strain at a gnat and swallow a camel!Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and greed!Blind Pharisee, cleanse first the inside the cup so that the outside also remain pure! ".
