Gospel (Jn 12, 24-26): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "Truly, truly, I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. He who loves his life loses it; and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me, and where I am, there also will my servant. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him ".
