Liturgical Day: Wednesday July 29
Gospel (Lk 10, 38-42): At that time Jesus entered a village; and a woman named Martha received him into her house. She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord's feet, heard his word, while Martha was distracted with much serving. Approaching therefore said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me. "But the Lord answered: "Martha, Martha, you worry and fret about so many things; and yet few are needed, or better, one. Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her. "
