Reading from the Gospel, Tuesday, July 7 (click here)

Liturgical day: Tuesday, July 7
Gospel (Mt 9, 32-38): At that time, he had a dumb demoniac. And expelled the devil, he broke the mute man spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, "Never was anything seen in Israel." But the Pharisees said, "By the prince of demons cast out demons."

Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. And when he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples: "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send laborers into his harvest ".
