Reading from the Gospel, Tuesday July 14 (click here)

Liturgical day: Tuesday July 14
Gospel (Mt 11, 20-24): At that time, Jesus began to curse the cities in which they had performed most of his miracles, because they did not repent: "Woe to you, Chorazin!Woe to you, Bethsaida! Because if they had done the miracles that were done in you in Tyre and Sidon time ago in sackcloth and ashes they would have become. Therefore I say that the day of judgment will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon than for you. And you, Capernaum, to heaven you'll elevate? So you will sink to Hades! Because if they had done the miracles you have done in Sodom, it remained until today. Therefore I say that the day of judgment will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom than for you. "
