Reading from the Gospel, Sunday July 5 (click here)

Liturgical day: Sunday, July 5
Gospel (Mk 6, 1-6): At that time, Jesus went to his country, and his disciples followed him. When the sabbath came he began to teach in the synagogue. The crowd, who heard him were amazed, and said, "Where did this come from? and what wisdom is this that has been given? And those miracles through his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James, Joseph, Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us? ". . And they took offense at Him Jesus said, "A prophet in his own country, among his relatives and in his own house prestige". And he could not do any miracles there, except a few sick people by laying his hands healed. And he was amazed at their lack of faith.
