  Gospel (Mt 8, 23-27): At that time Jesus got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly the sea rose in a great tempest that the boat was covered with the waves; but he was asleep. Approaching they awoke him, saying, 'Lord, save us, we perish. "Said to them: "Why are you afraid, you of little faith?". Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. And the men marveled, saying, "Who is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him?".
