Reading from the Gospel, Thursday June 18 (click here)

Liturgical day: Thursday June 18
Gospel (Mt 6, 7-15): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "When you pray, do not babble like the heathen, for they think that by their many words they will be heard. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

"You, therefore, pray: 'Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread; And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive men, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. "

Your brother in Christ, Father Santiago
