Reading from the Gospel, Monday, June 15 (click here)

Liturgical Day: Monday June 15
Gospel (Mt 5, 38-42): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth'. But I say: Do not resist evil; rather, if anyone hits you on the right cheek, offer him the other: when you want to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak; and that forces you to go one mile, go with him two. Who gives you ask, and you want to borrow, do not turn away. "
