Reading from the Gospel, Friday June 19 (click here)

Liturgical day: Friday June 19
Gospel (Mt 6, 19-23): At that time, Jesus told his disciples: "Do not store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes and thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

"The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be bright; but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be dark. And if the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!. "

Your brother in Christ, Father Santiago
