   Gospel (Jn 20, 19-23): the evening of that day, the first of the week, when closed, for fear of the Jews, the doors being shut where the disciples were, Jesus came and stood among them and He said, "peace be with you". Having said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples rejoiced to see the Lord. Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you. "That he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins, they are forgiven; who shall retain, they are retained. "
