Gospel Reading, Monday, April 6 (click here)
Liturgical Day: Monday April 6
Gospel (Mt 28, 8-15): At that time, women departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples. In this, Jesus met them and said, "God save you!". And they came to him, and embracing his feet, and worshiped. Then Jesus said to them, "Fear not. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me. "
While they were going, some of the watch came into the city to tell the chief priests everything that had happened. These, together with the elders held council and got a good sum of money to the soldiers, telling them: "Say, 'His disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept.' And if the thing gets to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and you will avoid complications. " They took the money and did as instructed. And that version of the Jews came, until today.
Your brother in Christ, Father Santiago
