   Gospel (Lk 11, 14-23): At that time Jesus was casting out a demon that was mute; It happened, when the demon went out, broke the dumb to speak, and the people were amazed. But some of them said, "By Beelzebub, prince of demons, cast out demons." Others, to test him, asking him a sign from heaven. But He, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and house against house falls. If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand ?, because ye say that I cast out demons by Beelzebub. If I drive out demons by Beelzebub, by whom do your sons cast? Therefore they shall be your judges. But if by the finger of God cast out demons, has come to you the kingdom of God. When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed; but when someone stronger than him and overcomes him, he takes away the armor in which he trusted, and divideth his spoils. He who is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. "
