Reading from the Gospel, Sunday March 15 (click here)

Liturgical Day: Sunday March 15
Gospel (Jn 3, 14-21): At that time Jesus said to Nicodemus, "As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must be lifted up the Son of man, that whoever believes in him may have life eternal. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. . For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world might be saved through him who believes in Him is not condemned; but whoever does not believe stands condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.

"And judgment is that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the light, neither cometh to the light, that his deeds are not. But he who does the truth comes to the light, so that it is evident that his deeds have been wrought in God. "
