Reading from the Gospel, February 11 (click here)

Liturgical Day: Wednesday February 11
Gospel (Mk 7, 14-23): At that time Jesus called the crowd and said, "Hear me all and understand. Nothing outside a man which by going into him can defile him; but what comes out of man, that is what defiles. Whoever has ears to hear, let him hear. "

And when it away from the crowd, entered the house, his disciples asked him concerning the parable. He said, "So likewise ye not you understand? Do you not understand that everything comes out in man can not defile, since not go into his heart, but into the belly and goes to the toilet? "-as Declared all food-. And he said: "What comes out of man, that is what defiles. For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, fornication, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, fraud, licentiousness, envy, slander, insolence, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile the man. "
