Liturgical Day: Saturday February 7
    Gospel (Mk 6, 30-34): At that time, the apostles gathered around Jesus and reported all they had done and what they had taught. He then tells them, "Come away by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while". For the coming and going were many, and they had no time to eat. And they went in the boat apart into a desert place. But people saw them going, and many recognized them; and they ran there on foot from all the towns and got there ahead of them. And ashore he saw a large crowd, he had compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd, and he began to teach them many things.
