Gospel Reading Today, September 28

Liturgical Day: Sunday, September 28
Gospel (Mt 20, 28-32): At that time Jesus said to the chief priests: "What do you think? A man had two sons. Came to the first, he said, 'Son, go work today in the vineyard.' And he said, 'I do not want', but later repented and went. He came to the second and said the same. And he said, 'I go, sir,' and was not.

"Which of the two did the father's will? '. "The first," say you. Jesus said, "Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the harlots go before you into the kingdom of God. For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And you, not seeing, ye repent later, to believe in Him. "
