Gospel text (Mt 7 21.24-27): At that time Jesus said to his disciples: "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will my heavenly Father. Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, but it did not fall , for it was founded upon a rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew, broke against that house and it fell: and great was the ruin."
