Today's Gospel reading

Liturgical Day: November 19, Tuesday
Gospel ( Lk 19, 1-10 ): At that time, Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. There was a man named Zacchaeus, who was a chief tax collector, and rich. Trying to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the people, because he was small of stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to see him, for he was to pass that way. And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, "Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I should stay at your house."He hurried down and welcomed him joyfully.

Seeing it, they all murmured, saying, "He has gone to be the guest of a 'sinner '. Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord: "Behold, Lord, half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anyone, I restore it fourfold."Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man too is a son of Abraham, for the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost."

Your brother in Christ, Father Santiago
