Gospel (Lk 18, 35-43): At that time, it happened that Jesus approached Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the road begging to hear the crowd going past he asked what it meant. He reported that it was Jesus of Nazareth and started screaming, saying, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me." Those who went before rebuked him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me." Jesus stopped, and commanded him to be brought and, when he had come, he asked: "What do you want me to do? '. He said, "Lord, that I may see." Jesus said: "Ve Your faith has saved you. "And immediately he received his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people saw it, praised God.
